BOSTON–(BUSINESS WIRE)–Culbert Healthcare Solutions, a management consulting firm serving healthcare organizations, today announced the appointment of two senior level healthcare executives. David Francis and Charles Brown have joined the leadership team.

David Francis, MHA, will join Culbert as Senior Vice President of Management Consulting Services. David brings more than 25 years of Healthcare Leadership experience spanning clinical operations, practice management strategy, and revenue cycle operations. In his new role, he will be responsible for the growth and delivery of our management consulting suite of services which includes patient access transformation, performance improvement and interim management.

Before joining Culbert, Mr. Francis served as Chief Operating Officer for Steward Medical Group (SMG) at Steward Health Systems, the nation’s largest privately held integrated health system. Prior to SMG, David served as SVP of the Physicians Organization at Care New England in Providence, RI, and headed Revenue Cycle operations at both Northwestern Medicine and Brigham and Women’s Physician Organization.

Charles (Charlie) Brown, MBA will be joining the firm as Vice President of Epic Revenue Cycle Consulting Services. Charlie brings more than 30 years of leadership experience from large integrated delivery systems where he has led several Epic implementations and optimization programs. In his new role, he will be responsible for the growth and delivery of our revenue cycle consulting suite of services which includes revenue optimization, revenue cycle transformation, and interim management.

Mr. Brown has held system-wide revenue cycle leadership roles at organizations including MultiCare, University of Washington, University of Chicago, and Tower Health. He focused on improving culture, workflows, and implementing new technology as he integrated the hospital and physician revenue cycles to optimize performance.
