To qualify, companies must have been founded and generating revenue by March 31, 2017. Ranking in the list is determined by the percentage revenue growth from 2017 to 2020, with minimums set for each year. With 801% revenue growth from 2017 to 2020, Gateway Genomics ranked #601 in the list, and #60 in the Health sector.

Gateway Genomics introduced the breakthrough SneakPeek Early Gender DNA Test in 2014, a new-to-the-world product at the time. For the first time, moms no longer needed expensive tests that had to be ordered by physicians to learn the sex of their babies during pregnancy.
