The CTO Forum today announced that Eric Tagliere, Chief Technology Officer of Humana Inc., has been appointed to the CTO Forum Advisory Board. The CTO Forum brings together senior technology executives, business leaders and academicians to discuss and collaborate on key technology issues and to accelerate innovation across organizations.

In his CTO role at Humana, Tagliere is accountable for Enterprise Architecture, Infrastructure Operations and Engineering, Contact Center platforms, Associate Collaboration and Productivity, M&A Technology Integration and Enterprise Data Platforms. His team is responsible for identifying emerging technologies and integrating contemporary technology solutions to enable innovative business processes, products and services – helping Humana achieve its strategic goal of creating seamless and easy experiences to help Humana members achieve their best health.

Previously, Tagliere served as the CTO of Marriott International, where he oversaw technology strategy, enterprise architecture and application development for 7,400 Marriott properties in 132 countries. He also led innovation, driving Marriott’s overhaul of mobile platforms, online experience and digital reward partnerships. Tagliere worked as the Chief Architect for Ameriprise and Vice President of Technology Services for Experian. He served on the Board of Trustees for the National Center for Children and Families, a non-profit based on Bethesda, Maryland.
